Robert Mackowski joined Pierson Commercial in 2021, bringing over a decade of experience in retail leasing and investment sales across Central and Northern New Jersey from his prior role at Newmark (formerly RKF before its acquisition by Newmark). Specializing in both tenant and landlord representation, Robert has successfully secured locations for prominent brands, including Halal Guys, Lululemon, Panera Bread, Santander Bank, Sweathouz, and T-Mobile, among others.
 
Robert has also represented institutional top property owners and developers, such as Advance Realty Investors, KRE, The LeFrak Organization, Prism Capital Partners, Toll Brothers, Urban Edge, and Veris Residential. He provides strategic guidance on retail leasing and asset positioning to maximize portfolio value in high-demand markets.
 
As a leading retail broker on New Jersey’s Gold Coast, Robert has completed approximately 60 leases and sales, totaling more than 163,000 square feet in key markets with an emphasis in Hoboken and Jersey City.
 
Robert holds a degree from Rutgers University, a New Jersey real estate license, and is a member of ICSC. He began his career as an Economist at The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and was recognized as a Rising Star in Commercial Real Estate by Real Estate Weekly in 2019.
